Greetings,
I'm starting to play around with this new site. Please bear (no pun intended) as I try a few things. As soon as I feel confortable, I will post a story about our neighbor, Nancy)
Here's a copy of my first entry, September 8, 2005:
Milo (My mixed breed mutt) and I started our morning walk around 7AM. The morning sky was still pink, following a spectular sunrise. After waving good-bye to the wife and son, we walked down the long driveway onto the main road. We stop at the Sunshine school house every morning and raise the American flag. The School house was built in 1900 and is no longer used as a school, but as a community gathering place. Milo was rewarded with a doggy bisquit and we marched on. We passed the spot where we were greeted by a black bear a few weeks before and walked to the fork. On the way back, the school bus passed us. Bob, the driver, usually has a treat for Milo, but not this morning. He just waved and kept going. Milo usually sits when he hears the school bus coming. He knows there is going to be a treat. This morning, I gave him one out of my own pocket.
Smiles,
David

I'm so delighted you decided to continue your journey on this side of the blogsphere! It would never be the same without the stories from Sunshine Colorado. (Hugs)Indigo
Poor Milo! Isn't it amazing how smart they are? I have a Golden named Tucker and he would do the same thing!
How cool to live in a town called Sunshine! That is just the perfect address!!!
Looks good to me! Reading your blog makes me soooooooo homesick for Colorado, lol. I hope to live there again one day. Have I said that enough yet? Hee...I enjoy reading about Milo and your community.
Blessings!~

Hello David,
Wow, I see your fire house is done and looking beautiful! I'm actually enjoying the new world here. LOL..gotta love the widgets and gadgets. I'm also very thankful that I'm reconnecting with so many friends.
Give Milo a big hug for me. Grizzly is moving a bit slower but still doing well :)
I'm glad you have come on over - i'm looking forward to hearing more about Milo and the goings on in Sunshine.
I agree with Jan, what a lovely community you live in.
